| Descriere generală | Issued individually as well as for circulation to commemorate the 50th year of Pride UK. The Royal Mint confirmed that this 50p coin would be the last to feature The Queen on the obverse as it was released into circulation via Post Offices across the UK on Tuesday 25 October, 2022. The reverse design was created by the artist, writer and LGBTQ+ activist Dominique Holmes and this piece marks the first time The Royal Mint have celebrated the LGBTQ+ community on a UK coin. The design was also struck in colour cupro-nickel BU, colourised silver proof and colourised silver piedfort, gold proof and gold piedfort. |
